Apple’s OS X Yosemite is all set to be released for the public soon this month.
According to reports, the company will be having an Apple event on the 16th of October where the update along with other devices will be launched.
This news can be confirmed by the fact that the OS X Yosemite GM candidate has been released last week as well.
GM or Golden Master is the final version of any software that is to be released for the public and since Apple has released this last version, it is a high possibility that the newest update will be released at this Apple event.
Apple had also announced at WWDC that the OS will be closely integrated with their latest iOS 8 version and will have features like Handoff and Continuity that let users switch between Apple devices at their convenience. There will also be changes in the present Spotlight, iTunes version and Messages applications.
